The World at a Crossroads
The World at a Crossroads in the novel “Lily Among Thorns.” Coming to a close are the rise and fall of kingdoms until there shall rise one last kingdom to usher in Such a Time of Trouble has never been seen or experienced on this good green earth. Daniel 12:1, And at that time shall Micheal stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
For those who chose Jesus Christ and believe the Holy Bible such as the young girl Lily, there shall come a time when “Hell” shall descend on earth to raise a final kingdom in defiance against the Holy Statutes of the Creator. A time of “Woe” (great sorrow, grief) is just the beginning of the sufferings. Revelation 12:12, Therefore rejoice ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, (fierce, vengeful) because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
The world is in a state of deterioration of Biblical standards and to come first is a falling away from the Biblical Truths of the Holy Scriptures of the Bible. 2nd Thessalonians 2:3, Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.
Eternal Dire Consequence
Persecution lies ahead for Lily and those faithful believers who chose to be loyal to Jesus Christ over the eternal dire consequence of taking the “Mark of the Beast.” Revelation 14:9, 10, 11, 12, And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead or in his hand.
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of indignation: (such as provoked to anger by injustice, hyposirisy) and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Finish Strong in the "Last Days"
Watching and praying helps Lily to Finish Strong in the “Last Days.” 1st Peter 4:7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
The Holy Bible describes the changes in attitudes as the time draws nearer to the “Time of the End.” 2nd Timothy 3:2, For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy.”
This list is self explanatory of the ethical decay that shall take place before the coming of the Lord Jesus’s triumphed return.

Rock Bottom of the Barrel
The warnings of the Sacred Scriptures of the Bible become crystal clear to Lily from her own observations and her grievous experience held captive by the “Immoral Beast Regime;” And from the demented hierarchy of leadership to the cruel rock bottom of the barrel guards prove their futility by taking pleasure out of the suffering of others.
Lily takes to heart to “Finish Strong” by the Holy Bible’s warning to be on your guard and to put your trust in the LORD. Jeremiah 17:7, Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
Finish Strong
Isaiah 35:4, Say to them that are of fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.

The social construct is Turned Upside Down in the “Last Days.” 2nd Timothy 3:1, This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

The authorities no longer protect the innocent such as Lily, but the guilty. The apostate church teaches the false religion of the Antichrist” and not the Biblical Statutes of the Holy Bible. Isaiah 10:10, Woe unto to them that decree unrighteous decrees and write grievousness which they have prescribed.
Lily’s belief in the infallibility of the Holy Scriptures makes her an enemy of the rising “New Demonic Order.” Matthew 10:22, And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
The time is drawing nearer to the Mark of the Beast an a I D Card is implemented first for people to buy or sell which eventually lead’s to the number of the BEAST (crude, savage) six hundred and sixty six, 666. Revelation 13:18, Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
Tyranny on the Rise
Tyranny on the Rise to a fever pitch for those who speak the truth of the Holy Bible and the cautionary warning not to take the “Mark of the BEAST”
Lily heeding to the cautionary warnings of the Holy Bible she is forcefully removed from HOME and echoing in her memory is the love of a dutiful father desperately and helpless watching his beloved daughter taken from his protection by a cruel authority perhaps never to be seen or heard from again. Lily’s dad screams out in protest NOOO!!
For Lily the saga continues as she suffers the consequences by taking a stand against the “Mark;” she is sent to a new glorified prison what the “New World Demonic Order” likes to refer to as a “National Training Rehabilitation Center.”

Moving onto her next trial these dire images stay with Lily and prove the point when integrity is compromised extreme cruelty is certain to happen. Proverbs 29:2, When the righteous are in authority; the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
Finish Strong
Romans 4:20, He (Abraham) staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.

A Proper Suitor
Truly the Evil in Lily’s day cast a giant shadow over God’s good comely green earth and consequently the “Hopes and Dreams” of a young girl. But the beautiful faithful damsel Lily will not be detoured to Hope in the Lord to make all of her dreams of a Proper Suitor come true. Hebrews 10:23, Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he (God) is faithful that promised.)
Along the way in the most unlikely of places held in captivity working as forced labor at a warehouse. Comes onto the scene a sincere handsome smile to capture Lily’s heartstrings.
Regardless of the hellish obstacles the enemy and his underlings devise in their wicked imaginations. Luke 1:51, He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
Caleb a good Christian soldier for Jesus Christ will not give up the names of his fellow Christian brethren helping the innocent escape the clutches of the current wicked regime. Thus he finds himself held captive by the deplorable “Menstealers,” and proves his worth to Lily time and again by taking a stand for her virtue. Psalms 71:3, Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.
Times such as these the demented guards relish the opportunities to prey upon on those who dare not defend themselves knowing to do so shall put those that they love in jeopardy. 1st Corinthians 4:10, We are fools for Christ sake, but ye are wise in Christ, we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.
Nonetheless Caleb and Lily’s love blessed by providence grows from across the aisle and shared is a parting kiss to last a life time of love. Psalms 41:11, By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
