Lily can be found reading her Bible at any time of the day and, lesson learned. She ponders after reading the creation story in the book of Genesis how long ago, and way back when, before the beginnings of time. God told our great ancestors not to eat the fruit of a tree as it is written in Genesis 2: 17, But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
In comes the enemy, that ‘Old Serpent’ assured our great ancestors as it is written in Genesis 3:4, “Ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil” and “Ye shall not surely die” if they ate of the fruit of the ‘Tree of Knowledge.’ Taking the enemy at face value our ancestors disobeyed God and ate of the fruit. Sin came into the world and the clock started ticking. God’s plan went into effect the free gift of salvation through His Son Jesus Christ as it is written in 1st Thessalonians 5:9, For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.
And thereby reconciliation back to God the Father as it is written in 2nd Corinthians 5:19, To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them, and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Now fast forward and in the beginnings of the 21st Century. The enemy, the same conniving ‘Old Serpent,’ is deceiving some who never had learned from past history, and plan to take from the proverbial ‘Fruit of Technology’ to live supposedly forever. Sorry to say, the Bible tells us this plan does not end well, and after two World Wars in the 20th Century. You would think some people would have taken the hint by now that the best laid plans are better left to the Most High God.
God however still lovingly extends the pure light of wisdom and knowledge through His ‘Word’ the Bible. From the book of Genesis to the book of Revelation and throughout its pages reveals the coming of the Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ. Henceforth the Bible remains relevant across time.
The message from start to finish the Bible reveals and centers on Jesus’ triumph and the elimination of evil as it is written in Revelation 17:14, These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of Kings: and they that are with him are called, the chosen, and faithful.
The Bible The Infallible ‘Word’ Of The LORD.
The signs of the ‘Last Days’ are everywhere to be seen, and plainly put. Bible Prophecy is everyone’s story, and it is up to individual where they want to fit inside its pages. Lily’s mind is made up and she makes a full-fledged pledge commitment to the Lord, and suffer the consequences she takes to heart as it is written Luke 21:33, Heaven earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
Popular Opinion
Public opinion in Lily’s day is increasingly being manipulated against the Bible-believing Christian such as Lily. A police state was growing more and more commonplace. Until all civil liberties had become virtually disregarded for those who profess the Christian faith! Luke 21: 17, And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.
Technology vs The Believer
Lily’s much beloved pastor is making quite a few enemies beyond the church house doors because of the boldness in which he speaks of the dwindling morals in society, and the cautionary warning against the taking of the ‘Mark’ as it is written in Revelation 13:17, And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Technology being impartial and only as ethical as its user, and with the ‘Beast System’ steadily on the rise. The threat of the compulsory taking of the ‘Mark’ is on Lily’s near horizon, and the Bible is clear of the consequences if one should so select to take the ‘Mark’ as it is written in Revelation 14:11, And the smoke of their torment ascended up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast, and his image, and who soever receiveth the mark of his name.
A Complete Surveillance Society
No where to run for Lily a Bible believing Christian, nevertheless Lily takes courage from the Holy Scriptures, and the practical measures to avoid an altercation with the current far-reaching rogue government as it is written in John 16:33, These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. in the world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Modern Technology vs Bible Prophecy
Modern technology seemingly has the upper-hand over Lily, and yet she knows all she need do is to trust God’s ‘Word’ where within its pages can be found the blessed assurance of a ‘Happy Ending.’ The Lord vanquishes the ‘Beast’ and the ‘Beast System’ as it is written in Revelation 20:10, And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
The Message of Revelation
The book of Revelation reveals the pinnacle climax of a world in rebellion against its creator; God, and here is Lily inspired by the ‘Word’ of God and the Lord’s promise of reconciliation amidst a world gone awry as it is written in Genesis 50:20, But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it this day to save much people alive.
