Lily’s story, the book ‘Lily Among Thorns,’ tells the harrowing tale of how it is after two ‘World Wars’ in the 20th Century. The world spins out of control once again when yet again another tyrannical ruler seizes power. But sorry to say the worst is yet to come, and here in the first decades of the 21st Century. The current woes of society will lead to the ‘Antichrist’!
The ‘Global Leader’ the Bible speaks of as ‘That Man of Sin’, as it is written in 2nd Thessalonians 2: 3, Let no man deceive you by any means; for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed the son of perdition.
Lily living in what the Bible refers to as the ‘Last Days’ she ponders knowing to refuse the taking of the ‘Mark’, it doesn’t leave much room for a Bible-believing Christian such as herself living in a world gone amiss. Knowing sooner than later she would have to take a stand as it is written in Ephesians 6:13, Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
But it is a comfort for Lily to know God’s Word is a ROCK of constant stability in her life as it is written in 1st Corinthians 10:4, And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of the spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
Luke 21:33, Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
The Bible is Lily’s constant companion knowing she has the blessed assurance she holds a more sure word of prophecy in her hands, which was comforting to her spirit as well as her soul. And with due diligence she makes the earnest effort to start her day by reading the Bible first thing in the morning as it is written in Psalms 5:3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and look up.
Proverbs 8:17, I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.
The Sorry ‘State Of The Union’
The sorry ‘State of the Union’ frequently occupy her thoughts pondering how it is ‘We the People’ had gotten ourselves to such challenging times such as it is written in Matthew 24:21, For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Lily found cordiality with her faithful Christian brothers and sisters in Christ, and when Sunday services would come to a close the entire congregation was welcome to stay for a more in-depth study of the Holy Scriptures as it is written in 2nd Timothy 3:15, And that from a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Taking to heart as it is written in John 3: 16-19, For God so love the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. and this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Chief Corner Stone & The Rock of Salvation
The consequences thereof living as a Bible believing Christian opposed to the apostate ‘New Oppressive World Order.’ The horrific aftermath is Lily is but one of many and through the tremendous loss of family and love.
