The novel Lily Among Thorns Song of Solomon 2:2 In the Last Days 2nd Peter 3:3 is a harrowing adventurous read and delves into the lives of each character who is humbled by the decision to accept the “Wisdom of the Age,” Jesus Christ as Lord of lords and King of kings, with this being deemed no trivial commitment with persecution on the rise under a “Beast Regime.” as it is written in Matthew 2:21, For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time. No, nor ever shall be.

The Book of Revelation begins with a Blessing to those faithful souls like the character Lily who ventured to read the Revelation of Jesus Christ. John the Apostle, living in the days of the premier nation on earth at the time the Roman Empire, and under Roman rule by the Emperor Domitian. The Christian community suffers persecution; And John is exiled to the Isle of Patmos for sharing the Gospel message, the redemption through the only begotten Son of the living God, Jesus Christ. In a time of tribulation John shares all that was revealed to him in the Spirit as it is written in Revelation 1:3, Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep to those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Revealed within the title of the novel  Lily Among Thorns is the “Beauty of Innocence” living in challenging times as it is written in Song of Solomon 2:2, As a lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters.

The subtitle also speaks of Scoffers and or Slanderers in the “Last Days” as it is written in 2nd Peter 3:3, Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts.

The Lord is long suffering, and is out to save humanity from the wiles of that ancient foe, that ‘Old Serpent’ as it is written in 2nd Peter 3:9, The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but as long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but all should come to repentance.

Lily is living in a world in rebellion against God which comes to the pinnacle of cruelty when the earth is awash with blood of the saints as it is written in Revelation 13:15, And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

The Bible says the faithful like Lily are not appointed to wrath as it is written in 1st Thessalonians 5:9, For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!

We like Lily in the novel ‘Lily Among Thorns’ have always been living in ‘Bible Times,’ and the love of God is reaching out to humanity to accept the free gift of salvation unto life eternal as it is written in Jude 1:21, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. Lily’s Cup Runneth Over coming to the Knowledge of Knowing in the long run her First Love was with her all along as it is written in Psalms 23:5-6, Thou preparest a table before be in the Presence of my enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Love comes to Lily in the most unlikely of circumstances, and with it the Hopes and Dreams of a hopeful heart of the young damsel as it is written in Psalms 130:5, I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I HOPE.
