Closing my Bible, I began to reflect on Eli’s part in the story and how it was that without even knowing the reason for Hannah’s many tears of heartache, Eli spoke only words of comfort and hoped in the Lord. He the Lord granted Hannah’s request, and I knew without a doubt, I could, and always should go to the Lord for everything, which absolutely included, and most importantly, my Heart’s Desires.’

A modest and unassuming beautiful young damsel named Lily living a lifestyle of sweet dreams and “Heart’s Desires” in her hometown of Picturesque Colorado; she is ever hopeful a handsome suitor shall come to fulfill all of her hopes for a brighter tomorrow.

Bequest to Lily is the gift from the “Father of Lights” heavens volumes of endearing tutelage written for prosperity in the Holy Bible to which Lily intensely searches for her “Heart’s Desire,” as it is written in James 1:17, Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. 

The journey of Lily’s optimistic rosy expectations of “Loves Sweet Promise” is not an easy path. The battle is fierce and full of anguish and sorrows amongst the scoffers and naysayers casting fear and doubt as it is written in Luke 12:32, Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Prevailing to the occasion to quench the fiery darts of the enemy’s skepticism. Lily makes a reserved declaration to “Trust in God” and thus the testament to hope against hope to make her deepest desires come true as it is written in Romans 4:18, Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, ( the “Word”) so shall thy seed be.

My “Heart’s Desire” is Lily’s furthermost supplication of faith and from the heights of the heaven’s throne come the tender mercies of answered prayer as it is written in Psalms 37:4, Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the “Desires of Thine Heart.”
