In The Beginning to the Last Days to The Beginning
“As It Is Written” In the Word Of God
Ecclesiastes 3:1, To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.
Eternity
Genesis 1:1, In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Isaiah 57:15, For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I will dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
Ezekiel 18:32, For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live.
John 1:1, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2nd Timothy 3:16, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction for righteousness.
Hebrews 13:8, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
1st Peter 1:19-20, But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you.
The Present Time, to the “Latter Days”
Deuteronomy 4:30, When thou art in tribulation, and all these things come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD the God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; (For the LORD God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, not forget the covenant of thy fathers which he swear unto them.
Matthew 24:37, But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
2nd Timothy 3:1, Know this also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
Revelation 1:1, The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass, and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John.
Full Circle Into Eternity
Micah 4:1, But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.
John 3:15, That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
2nd Pete 3:3-4, Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the father fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
Thoughts to Ponder
Much has been said of time. Philosophers down through the ages had thought provoking perspectives on the matter of time.
Perhaps through the course of one lifetime there are many personal reflections on the subject of time.
None however can express from the “In the Beginning” to the “Last Days” the concept of time as eloquently as its creator, ALMIGHTY GOD.
