This chapter titled “The Monsters from the ID.” The ID is in reference to the ego or a “Super Ego without constraint hence “That Man of Sin.” So it goes with the hirelings “The Monsters.” Working in one accord to craft a “Global Beast Alliance” in defiance of Gods Sacred Scriptures of the Bible.

Now this being Lily’s “Appointed Time” as it is written in Job 14:14, If a man die shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. In the novel Lily Among Thorns. Lily”s amiable character considers what harm can there be in taking time off from the worlds troubles just for one weekend.

Lily’s “Honeydew Sweetheart” Jared worried for her safety gives a fair warning to be cautious. Lily aims to relieve his worries by agreeing to his reasonable terms and expresses the “Blessed Assurance” as it is written in Colossians 2:2, That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ.  She promises to take painstakingly extreme caution her entire fun-filled weekend getaway at her friend Judy’s house.

For guidance Lily uses her Biblical window into a world of dangerous twist and turns, and her confidence builds with the mission accomplished. And on supposing she is quite suited for “Secret Covert Operations.” Her worst Nightmare dressed in men’s “Stylish Suit” wear shows up onto the scene!

Stefan Strobeck steps inside the elevator and there is no escaping his mysterious intentions in the small confines of an elevator! Not knowing what to expect Lily prepares herself to expect the unexpected! Proverbs 10:28, The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.

Stefan directly begins to close the gap between them, yet sensitive to Lily’s anxieties he keeps his distance and speaks of cautionary warnings and dire consequences for her upcoming fun-filled Weekend! Lily in the meantime is confirming her faith and welcomes answered prayer when she reaches her final destination enabling her to give Stefan the slip as soon as the elevator  doors begin to open!

Consequently Lily is pestered by a gentle nudge to her conscience to heed my darling Jared’s and now even perplexing Stefan Strobeck’s cautionary warnings. But preferring to ignore the forewarning as scary naysayers. Lily is destined to experience the wisdom of Biblical discernment as it is written in Ecclesiastes 8:5, Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man’s heart discerneth both time and judgment.
