The Biblical Hope of Endurance  

Living through the hardships of the End Days As society threatens to spin out of control, with the ever-present shadow of conflict looming in the background, the central question becomes: how does the faithful endure?

In such menacing times, a guide to the faithful is a Biblical World View giving the Believer the  strength to stand firm facing the daily challenges and struggles of the “Last Days.” 2nd Timothy 3:1, This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

The world in Lily Among Thorns  is the odious setting  of the rise  “Antichrist Beast Cabal” which turn against the Bible believing Christian. Such as Lily, and simply put Lily is but one of many a faithful believing in the Bible which makes her a criminal, and taken from her family in the middle of the night by brutal authorities. She is thrown into a prison system designed to break her spirit, where the bones of the Christian martyr steadfastness in faith before her serve as a disquieting reminder of the cost of perseverance.

The Survivor in this Story is a Faithful Warrior of Faith.

Lily endures her spiritual and emotional battle with discipline and perseverance, facing suffering and hardship with unwavering faith. She is an everyday person who refuses to let her faith be extinguished, clinging to God in a place designed to break her resolve.

Perseverance Through Suffering

The life that Lily endures because of her faith becomes a test of perseverance through occurrence of daily suffering. Yet although day by day new challenges and opportunities may arise; Lily grows in faith, as she faces back-breaking work, the debased cruelty of the guards, and the deep loneliness of imprisonment.

There are plenty of obstacles in her path, but also an abundance of grace that sustains her. The burden the government gives to Christians is made heavily on purpose, to crush their resolution. Yet, Lily does not give up.

Every small win in her daily struggle becomes a reminder of hope. Her strength does not come from herself, but from God, and she in constant prayer turns to the promises of the Bible for comfort and HOPE!

Her story shows to trust in God even against overwhelming odds.

Matthew 5:11-12, Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and

persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my

sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad: for great is your reward in

heaven:  for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

The character of Lily is the archetype of a long-suffering individual, where her suffering is not a single event, but a long, drawn-out ordeal that lasted even longer than she ever anticipated.

Weeks turn into months during her incarceration, she endures the heartbreak and separation of her One True Love Caleb, and the loss of her beloved family, not knowing if she would ever see them again. She also bears the constant threat of violence from the corrupt guards and becomes the target of the most vile attentions.

Through it all, Lily learned the importance of patience and faith, trusting that God has a plan even in endless persecution.

Matthew 11:28, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden,

and I will give you rest.

The story of Lily is an enduring legacy of faith and the refusal to deny Christ, even when it could have given her reprieve, is a powerful testimony—her faith liken to a lily amid thorns, symbolizing beauty and endurance in suffering.

The target of destruction is directed against Lily and her faithful walk in Christ Jesus and yet Lily like many a believer chose to take a stand and rather suffer persecution and endure hardship, trusting in the savior Christ the Lord for deliverance and HOPE.

The character Stevi a trusted sister in the Lord and confident to Lily she tells her, “…things happen for a good reason,” an example of the believer encouraging the faith of others. This is a Christian enduring legacy to the believer— an example of courage and hope in the face of adversity.

The legacy of HOPE through the Lord Jesus Christ endures for ever.

Lily Among Thorns a faithful reminder that God is always with the Faithful even through the most ardent of trials.
