Jared replied still caught up in the moment, “Right now I couldn’t care less about the pies and cookies, because this is the best Thanksgiving I’ve had since I can remember, and that’s only because of one reason, and one reason only. I am sharing it with you.”

Along the way Jared caught my attention by placing his arm about the back of my shoulders. I was greeted by an eye-catching smile, and thereafter, I gladly returned the favor. Since I was the one holding the dessert boxes, Jared went to ring the doorbell, and while we waited, I thought the bountiful fall wreath hanging on the door to greet us was a welcoming touch, and the lace curtains in the window made for an overall sentimental feeling. I then took this moment to snuggle in closer to Jared, and in response, he gave my shoulders a tender squeeze.

Tim greeted us at the door, and after inviting us in with a friendly smile, he asked to take the boxes off my hands, and cordially directed us to hang our coats up on the conveniently placed hall-tree.

We’d share one last good night kiss, and as he began walking down the hall to catch the elevator, I stood watching him from my doorway, and thought he was being quite adorably cute as he began to express his disappointment.

“I am going, but like you, I’m getting tired of these goodbyes myself.”

“I know, but it is for the best you go home and get your proper sleep. And I will see you at work tomorrow morning.”

Upon reaching the elevator, Jared turned around, and he said with mischief in his endearing smile.

“I can hardly wait until we say goodbye the next time.”

I replied, reluctant to see him go. “Go home Jared, and go to bed,”

Agreeing with a nod, he pushed the button for the elevator to arrive, and we were both in for yet another let down when the doors opened right up. Stepping inside, he waved goodbye, but just before the doors should close altogether, he stopped them to peek his head out. Looking ever so adorably cute, he pleaded for one last kiss for the road.

Standing firm, I said, resisting his boyish charm, “Good night, Jared, and I’ll see you in the morning.”

The splendid hues of Autumn, the sweet memories of a warm hearth and home, kindly smiles of tradition are established in the Blessed Happy Thanksgiving Holiday. And so, it befalls with Lily & Jared. Sharing the pleasant sentimentality on the path of gratitude and thoughtful considerations as it is written in Ephesians 5:20, Giving thanks for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The History of the Thanksgiving Holiday is one of generosity and assigned trust. Lily & Jared are at the cusp of a life changing commitment of an empathetic fellowship as it is written in Psalms 18:30, As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

The Love for which Lily & Jared share is a bond of renewal by way of the Blessings bestowed upon them in the present, as part of the remnant living out the Holy Scriptures, two humbled souls welcome a most desired and precious gift from the Creator God, the endowments of love as it is written in James 1:17, Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Lily & Jared derive to the selflessness of self, coming to the summary on this Happy Thanksgiving Day; genuinely grateful for the shared affections amongst the “Last Days,” referencing the final throes of deeply intense struggles as it is written in Psalms 136:1, O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
